Weatherization Assistance Program

The Weatherization Assistance Program aims to reduce utility bills for income-eligible households. An additional benefit is improving the health and safety of the residents of the home. This is a national program through the Department of Energy.  wap-fact-sheet_0622.

In Arizona, we are especially aware of the importance of weatherization; from the snow and cold of the north to the extreme heat of the valley.  The Arizona Department of Housing has Arizona-specific information.  Check out the AZDOH inforation.
